Areola pigmentation – 3D dermopigmentation. Procedure

Nipple areola pigmentation is an aesthetic procedure that corrects the shape and color. This procedure makes it possible to enlarge or reduce the size of the nipples.

Dermopigmentation is the correction of post-surgical lesions by means of a gentle application of pigment. It is a painless and comfortable procedure. Areola dermopigmentation requires the highest level of permanent makeup specialist.

Aesthetic pigmentation requires the highest level of professionalism of a specialist.

Many patients wonder how their breasts look at different times after dermopigmentation and mammoplasty. The result is always important to the client. Often these questions are asked by patients (women and men). Therefore, in my practice, I provide the client with comprehensive information. Understanding and knowing the steps of the dermopigmentation procedure is very important for the client. Medical dermopigmentation requires the highest level of knowledge in PMU pigmentology.

I will answer in detail what is the recovery process after dermopigmentation. Wot is of the areola after the procedure and the next day? What awaits after 3 and 5 days, after 1 and 2 weeks. What happens in the areola area after 10 days? After 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 months and after 1 year. How my clients feel after the nipple dermopigmentation procedure.

What is meant by mammoplasty?

It is possible to change the aesthetics and shape of the breasts through exercise.
It’s worth mentioning that we can firm the breasts with activity as well. For every woman the breasts are an important part of the body.

A therapeutic mammoplasty is a surgical procedure to remove breast cancer (therapeutic) and reshape (mammoplasty). This operation is carried out as both a form of treatment of breast cancer. To preserve a normal breast shape.

It is important to use a special compression bra after surgery. You have to wear it for 2 months.

After surgery why 2 months? The fact is that during this time a capsule forms around the implant. It gains strength 2 months after surgery. After 2 months, the implant is fixed before displacement. After 2 months after plastic surgery, it is impossible to perform areola pigmentation (areola dermopigmentation).

The photo below shows a post mammoplasty photo after healing.

The photo shows my patient’s breasts after plastic surgery. I want to change the appearance of the areola with dermopigmentation. The client has an appointment for aesthetic dermopigmentation of the areola. I will correct the shape and color of the nipple with pigmentation.

Areola pigmentation. What are indications for a procedure?

In dermopigmettation there can be multiple indications to use a procedure.

  • Postoperative pathology – complete or partial absence of the areola;
  • Partial absence of the areola (congenital or acquired)
  • The client has Vitiligo pathology in the nipple area;
  • Scar correction (areola area);
  • Correction of the skin color around the nipple is necessary;
  • Psychological reasons. Psychological complex has the client because of the appearance of the areola of the nipple.

Areola dermopigmentation is needed when the client has the following questions. How to change the scars around the nipple? how to change the color of areolas? can the shape of areolas be changed? how to solve the problem of uneven areolas? what to do if the areolas have different colors? how to fix it without surgery? how to remove scars, where can I change areolas?

Areola pigmentation. Indications for mammoplasty :

  • there are complexes resulting from excessive breast size.
  • The bust is inadequate to the structure of the rest of the body.
  • The bust causes limitations in daily functioning.
  • Difficulties in the selection of clothing or sports.

There are three general categories of cosmetic surgery performed on the breasts (also called mammoplasty):

breast augmentation, breast reduction, and breast reconstruction.

Reduction Mammoplasty is a procedure in which a volumetric reduction of the breast is done. In the process it also improves the shape of the breast and repositions the nipple areola complex. Breast reduction surgery, also known as reduction mammoplasty, removes fat, breast tissue and skin from the breasts. Breast augmentation — also known as augmentation mammoplasty — is surgery to increase breast size.

Doctors prescribe surgery

Doctors prescribe surgery for a client for objective reasons. The client’s desire plays a key role. Many women are interested in surgery to change the shape of their breasts.

Complaints of most patients include small breast size, areola asymmetry. Therefore, the doctor should have aesthetic taste and talent. The procedure should be performed professionally. In the following article, I will give the contacts of the surgeon after whom I have had clients for areola dermopigmentation procedures.

Surgery and areola pigmentation

The surgeon never insists on a mammoplasty service, which has several surgical options. It is up to the client to choose what she wants. But many women want to correct asymmetry, want removal of the mammary gland ptosis, change the shape of the breast.

Breast drooping (ptosis) is a condition in which the mammary glands gradually droop, the elasticity of the skin is lost, the volume decreases and the shape of the breasts changes. At the same time, stretch marks may also appear. Breast drooping can visually age a woman and visually add years.

Thanks to the areola dermopigmentation procedure and the use of modern pigments in the areola. Specialists are able to correct areola imperfections without surgery.

Areola pigmentation (areola dermopigmentation, medical pigmentation) – is a method of correcting areola defects by pigmenting. Pigment into the upper layers of the dermis around the nipple. The color and shape of the areola changes.

It is also possible to recreate the areola. The procedure is completely comfortable for the client and there is no painful sensation.

Dermopigmentation process

The technical process of areola dermopigmentation is complicated. I do not recommend beginners to perform this procedure. I conduct training in dermopigmentation only after test analyses of the specialist student.

Important to me: Specialist knowledge of pigmentology, practical PMU skills, level of medical knowledge.

I do not train nipple areola dermopigmentation specialists without a base in permanent makeup. It is a complicated procedure. Training in areola pigmentation after plastic surgery is a complex process. After the results of the PMU test, I provide training “AREOLA”.

Stages of dermopigmentation in the nipple area

The terms “dermopigmentation” and “areola pigmentation” are associated with correction, color enhancement and camouflage. Medical pigmentation (dermopigmentation) can be performed on various parts of the patient’s body.
How many treatments are needed? Please send photos and questions to millecenta@icloud.com or write in the comments to the article. I answer emails individually.

  • important for me is – preliminary analysis of the dermopigmentation site
  • after – the client receives individual recommendations on how to prepare for the dermopigmentation process
  • after – + rehabilitation process
  • the schedule of additional treatment is important
  • we determine the number of treatments to be performed depending on the area of pigmentation
  • appointment of individual treatment after medical pigmentation
  • appointment of long-term (after 2-3 mes., + after 3-5 years) care after the dermopigmentation procedure

Effects of dermopigmentation (how I work with clients)

How long does micropigmentation areola last? (2,5 -3 hours)

The result after dermopigmentation can be evaluated no sooner than one month after the procedure (secondary result after 1-2 months). There is also a primary aesthetic result after dermopigmentation – the client and I can see it on the 3rd day after the procedure.

Three days after the dermopigmentation of the areola, the first follow-up visit to the specialist takes place. If it is not possible for the client to visit in person, an appointment can be made online. If the client feels comfortable, after 1 treatment the result is super, then no additional treatments will be applied.
After 3 and 5 days the redness around the areola will disappear, after 1 and 2 weeks there will be a slight peeling of the pigmentation area. A secondary follow-up examination is required after one month.

During the secondary follow-up examination

the client is informed whether an additional procedure is necessary. There are cases in which additional procedures may not be necessary. There are cases in which the client needs more than one additional procedure. It may be 2-3 additional dermopigmentation procedures depending on the individual case and the result after the dermopigmentation is completed. After 1 – 1.5-2, 3, 4, 5, 6 months and after 1 year an additional pigmentation session is possible.

Dermopigmentation treatment can include both scar reconstruction and medical areola pigmentation procedure.

Results and examples of work after scar reconstruction (specialist A. Khakhlova) – can be seen here.

Contraindications to medical dermopigmentation

Contraindications to the procedure: young girls under 18 years of age, severe internal diseases, tumors in the breast area, acute and chronic infections, lactation, blood clotting disorders, diabetes.

Dermopigmentation should not be performed during pregnancy and lactation.

During hyperpigmentation of the areola, I do not recommend pigmentation procedures! There are special techniques that help eliminate pigmentation around the nipples. Until the pigmentation around the nipple is cured – 3D dermopigmentation cannot be done in this area

What causes hyperpigmentation of the areola?
Nipple pigmentation or areolar pigmentation is pigmentation (darkening) of the nipple or areola. It is dose-dependently induced as an effect of estrogens and can occur normally during pregnancy and breastfeeding or as a side effect of high-dose estrogen therapy.

Aesthetic surgery can therefore be used to correct defects in the shape and volume of a woman’s breasts. Dermopigmentation services (medical tattooing) can change the aesthetic appearance of the areola and hide scars from plastic surgery.

Medical Pigmentation. Scar classification

Currently, many clients are asking me how they can change their scars.

With gentle permanent makeup (camouflage, medical dermopigmentation), normotrophic scars are best corrected. These scars do not protrude above the skin and do not recede into the skin. They are flush with the skin. There are no bulges.

Hypertrophic, atrophic scars require complex sessions.

Keloid scars (sorry to disappoint you) cannot be camouflaged or dermopigmented. Correcting the deformity of scars is one of the most difficult tasks in dermopigmentation. Scars are a source of aesthetic and psychological problems for clients.

Classification of scars

Consider the classification of scars: hypertrophic, keloid, normotrophic and atrophic.

In terms of growth activity: scars are active, resorbable and stable.

Depending on the age of the scar: young and old scars.

Normotrophic scars

Normotrophic scars are the ideal result of wound healing of any origin. They are thin, pale, do not protrude above the skin surface and do not grow.

Atrophic scars

The cause of the formation of atrophic scars is the abnormal synthesis of new tissue. They are formed due to the breakdown of collagen fibers in the deep layers of the skin.
Atrophic scars sink below the level of the skin and are the result of trauma or inflammation (on the areolae after surgical procedures). The skin above atrophic scars is thin and sagging. Such scars are devoid of pigment and appear white and are treated just as well with dermopigmentation. However, cosmetic treatments are required before medical pigmentation.

Blizny te wyglądają na białe z powodu niedoboru kolagenu i elastyny, czyli głównych białek tworzących szkielet skóry. W swojej praktyce spotykam je najczęściej w stanach po trądziku (acne).

Hypertrophic scars

often referred to as hypertrophic scars, are skin lesions formed at the site of a break in the skin’s continuity.

Hypertrophic scars are usually thick. They are compact, with a lumpy surface covered with hyperkeratosis, often with transverse fissures. Hypertrophic scars can progress to atrophic scars, which gradually merge with the skin.

There are a large number of treatments for scars. Alone, none of them can guarantee a 100% quality result. The ideal solution is to carry out a comprehensive treatment to get the best possible result: cosmetological treatment + dermopigmentation (my work).

2 basic types of dermopigmentation

A distinction is made between aesthetic (cosmetic) and medical dermopigmentation. This is important information.

Alesia Khakhlova (Millecenta) & Paulina Baklavskaya

Medical dermopigmentation is camouflaging scars after plastic surgery, in the areola area, correcting skin defects using a comprehensive method.

My medical dermopigmentation technique includes: recovery process – individual recommendations, color correction, aesthetic restoration of the areola.

I received valuable information from Paulina Baclawska, a Polish cosmetologist and permanent makeup artist; Elena Schor, a medical oncologist (cosmetologist) from Switzerland.

Note that in working with the skin, the nature of the formation of the defect in the areola (around the areola) is important.

Also, I emphasize that loose, lacerated wounds from hiccups and burns, cuts and surgical sutures – have their own characteristics in terms of structure and nature of healing.

The age of the scar is important. Attention should be paid to the amount of fibrous tissue formed during scar formation, the depth of the injury and the location.

Cosmetic aesthetic dermopigmentation

The treatment is performed according to the client’s wishes. The aim of the aesthetic treatment is to create the perfect color of the areola and give it a new shape with the help of permanent makeup.

When a client has asymmetrical nipples, unwanted areola color, scars from skin surgeries – I can help change this with aesthetic and medical dermopigmentation treatments. An appointment with me can be made individually. You can also send me photos of the problem area. millecenta.com@gmail.com

Scar color

Immature scars – these are usually red and slightly convex, only becoming flat over time. Immature ones can cause discomfort in the form of itching or even pain. Mature – if the healing process is going well, they are characterized by a light color.

It is very difficult to work with scars caused by fibrosis of connective tissue, which occurs after uncontrolled repair regeneration. This is the most common cosmetic defect and often occurs as a result of certain skin diseases, trauma, burns and surgical procedures.

Method of working with scars

Not every permanent makeup master is ready to work with delicate areas and can deal with the areola, nipple, vitiligo, scars, stretch marks.

The regeneration process must be strictly taken into account (during this time, young connective tissue appears between the cells).

In fresh scar tissue, significant remnants of granulation vessels can remain. This gives the vessels a bright reddish color. As we age, the scar tissue fades due to a reduction in the number of cellular elements and blood vessels. Before deciding to perform pigmentation, it is necessary to consult a specialist.

In my practice I use hot pigmentation, cold pigmentation, scar pigmentation, areola pigmentation, scar reconstruction, areola reconstruction and many other methods of dermo-pigmentation of the skin.

Mammoplasty – the main method of breast augmentation?

Mammoplasty is designed to reduce fat and part of the mammary gland; excess skin and subcutaneous tissue can be removed during the procedure. It is the only breast augmentation method that produces long-lasting results. After mammoplasty, many clients seek an aesthetic change of the areola and nipples with medical dermapigmentation services.

I have met many women after plastic surgery. You can find the most beautiful breasts and a minimum of scarring after plastic surgery with a surgeon GRUDKO. It’s a pity he works in Russia. He needs to write letters when he goes abroad. He is a professional in this field. After surgeries, the scars breasts looked almost invisible (I have seen this in women).
And after my dermopigmentation services, it is impossible to tell the difference between live skin and aesthetically created skin.

It’s hard to be a permanent makeup artist and not be able to draw. It is not enough to master the art of vision. It is important to be able to do the job technically correctly. The specialist must be able to recreate the areola. Dermopigmentation is an art!

The film cannot be viewed by anyone under the age of 18!

Pigments for areola dermapigmentation

The pigments I use for the procedure “restoration of the areola with permanent makeup” are HANAMI, Swiss Color

They are safe, meet all hygiene standards, and are certified for quality.

Hanami is the highest quality dyes for permanent makeup.

Пигменты HANAMI

Innovative Novoxx technology is used to create these pigments. Thanks to this technology, Hanami pigments are durable, stable, flexible. This is their advantage among the huge number of pigments available on the market.

The innovative Novox Technology used in Hanami pigments is 100% biocompatible with the client’s body. This eliminates allergic reactions and is important in dealing with cuticles and scar tissue.

Novoxx (Novox technology in permanent makeup) stabilizes the microbial flora. Thanks to the combination of mineral substances it has an anti-inflammatory effect. Importantly, it supports the healing process after dermopigmentation of areolae, scars. Novoxx is an antioxidant, that prolongs the life of pigments in the client’s skin. Making pigmentation more durable after healing.

The production of Hanami Pigments takes place in a German laboratory. Controls all sterility standards, just like in pharmaceutical factories.

ANSWER QUESTION for patients

Why do I have brown crusty spots on my areola? Enlargement of the size of the areola glands will look like brown spots resembling pimples. These enlarged brown spots are actually harmless because they are hormonal in nature. The size of the enlarged areola gland does not need special treatment because it will return to normal after the hormone stabilizes.

How painful is breast reduction?
Is the breast reduction procedure painful? Anesthesia will be given during the procedure, but you should expect to feel sore for two to three days after surgery.

Does it hurt to do nipple pigmentation?

I work as comfortably as possible, without pain, and the client can sleep during the procedure. I very rarely use anesthesia. The procedure resembles a massage.

How long does it take to recover from areola dermopigmentation? Be prepared for the colour intensity to be significantly sharper and darker immediately after the procedure. This will subside and become softer as the skin heals. This process can take up to 14 days. The healing process is comfortable, but the healing process after medical pigmentation and after aesthetic pigmentation is different, as well as much depends on the scars around the breast and on the skin of the breast.

Nipple Color and Other Changes: What’s Normal? Nipples color can temporarily change due to things like normal hormonal shifts, pregnancy, or breastfeeding. The same goes for nipple size and texture. Permanent changes of the nipple can also occur and are often seen with breast surgeries, weight loss, and aging. Nipple color is usually related to your skin color, but changes in hormone levels and other factors can cause the color of your nipples ( from pink to dark brown is entirely normal). It can also change due to hormonal fluctuations in the body.
